Reid Park Plein Air 8x10 Oil

After nearly six months of having not been able to make it out to plein air, I finally made it out. Wasn't sure where to go but knew i had yet to do one at Reid Park. It was mothers day and there were lots of parties at the park, so many many people looking on. It was nice to be able to get out of the studio for a while and paint outdoors. I hope to make it out again next Sunday!

London Bridge located at Lake Havasu in Arizona. I've never been here before, only place in AZ haven't been yet. Painted from a reference photo. Could use some tweaking here and there, but done for now!

My fiance is a huge R2D2 fan from Star Wars and had been asking for a long time for me to paint R2 for her. Both her and our boys love Star Wars and the kids were excited to see it made!

Anne Hathaway Portrait 6x8 Oil

Actress Anne Hathaway from the upcoming "Get Smart" movie best known from Princess Diaries movies. I felt she had a very photogenic face and and infectuous smile and needed to paint her. I enjoyed this very much and have decided to do another famous person portrait of either John Wayne or Matthew Mcchonahey.

Lonely Saguaro 5x7 Oil

A lonely Saguaro Cactus sits in the desert missing it's main trunk. from many angles this cactus has enormous character and itches to be painted. I will be repainting it soon in a larger scale from another angle plein-air. It lies inside the Saguaro National Park, AZ.
